Hi, my name is Kristin Peterson. I started raising rabbits for 4-H in 2005. I became hooked on hollands lops and started showing at professional shows in the fall of 2007. I have several grand champions in my herd now. I have a small rabbitry located in central Iowa. I love spending my free time playing with my bunnies. I like seeing all my friends at the rabbit shows and enjoy making new friends.
My rabbitry is registered with the ARBA registry #B485. I am a member of ARBA, Iowa State RBA, Minnesota State RBA, the American Mini lop Rabbit club and the Holland Lop Specialty Club. I won the youth holland lop sweepstakes in Iowa for 2008 , 2009, 2010 , 2011 and 2012. I won the youth holland lop sweepstakes in Minnesota for 2010, 2011 and 2012
My final National standings for 2010 are 1st in sweepstakes! :), 4th in quality points and 3rd in herdsman.
National standing for 2011 #4 sweepstakes and #8 quality, #3 herdsman
National standings for 2012 #5 sweepstakes,#6 quality,#5 herdsman, 1st in zone 3 in sweepstakes and quality point and Froghollows Cookie Dough is # 8 top lop! :)
National standings for 2013 #6 sweepstakes, # 6 quality, #3 herdsman, and Kristin's Kritters Lexus is # 5 top lop! Not bad for splitting my herd between open and youth!
A special thanks goes out to the following breeders and friends. Maple Kelly for starting me out with such nice rabbits. Lisa and John Braun for our beloved Popeye and Chubs. Randy Stoen for answering all of my questions when I started raising rabbits and that I keep asking. A very special thanks to my Grandpa Eldon for giving me the money to buy my first pair of hollands and my Dad for building my bunny barn and driving me to all the shows. THANKS
